Every space was intentionally shaped to reduce friction, enhance daily flow, and create meaningful moments of calm within a busy, full household.
The reimagined 1,200+ square foot private owner’s suite serves as a restorative retreat, anchored by a custom sauna, full-slab shower, and freestanding soaking tub — a space created for clarity, renewal, and uninterrupted rest. The main level centers around a sixteen-foot kitchen island equipped with dual dishwashers, Miele appliances, and fully custom cabinetry, all beneath twelve-foot ceilings that fill the home with natural light and presence.
A dedicated friends’ entry leads into a combined mudroom and laundry suite featuring two sets of washers and dryers, designed to streamline the rhythm of a family constantly in motion. A sculptural Francois and Co. fireplace surround elevates the living room with quiet, grounded sophistication, while the enhanced front elevation introduces a rocking-chair porch lit by the warm glow of a gas lantern, creating a welcoming, timeless presence from the street.
The lower level is thoughtfully planned for future expansion with infrastructure ready for a home gym, wine cellar, and additional living areas — a future-ready approach that allows the home to evolve alongside the family’s needs.
Throughout the residence, Pella Lifestyle windows and doors refine the architectural proportions and bring in natural light that enhances clarity, warmth, and performance. Every detail reflects Bradford’s belief that the spaces we live in should elevate how we feel, how we recover, and how we move through each day.
This project was honored with the Gold Award for Addition Over One Million Dollars at the 2024 OBIE Awards, and is currently a finalist for the NARI Contractor of the Year (COTY) awards — recognizing both the rigor of the design and the disciplined execution that brought it to life.
