Post Oak began as an unfinished basement and evolved into a warm, deeply personalized retreat shaped through a close collaboration between our team and the homeowner, who is an interior designer. Together we transformed the raw space into a highly functional extension of the home with custom cabinetry and built-ins, a hidden workshop with an integrated gym, and a sculptural iron and brass railing that anchors the new architecture. Technology is seamlessly integrated with a stealth invisible surround system that preserves the clean, Shea McGee–inspired aesthetic the homeowner envisioned. The result is a refined lower level that blends beauty, comfort, and modern performance, crafted to support daily living with the elevated feel of a fully designed home.
